Chelsea Hollifield Dennis is a native to the beautiful Western North Carolina mountains, growing up in Sylva, North Carolina.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Honors College of Western Carolina University in 2011. After earning her BSN, Chelsea served as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department of Harris Regional Hospital.
In 2016, Chelsea earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Carolina University, and is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina. To further advance her practice skills, in 2018 Chelsea achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Western Carolina University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
During her studies and career, Chelsea has worked with local healthcare providers in family practice, women’s health, pediatric health, urgent care, long-term care and volunteer health services. She combines her love of her community and work to provide her patients with attentive care and seeks to understand how to help each individual patient reach his or her best health. Chelsea helps her patients navigate the portals to available healthcare services, and gives them the primary care base to coordinate their plan to better overall health.
In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, experiencing different cultures, and exploring the outdoors.
